Hey.  I'm glad deviantART doesn't get mad and kick you off for neglecting to post anything for a very long period of time.  Guilty, that's what I'd be.  And I just noticed that my account name refers to a color that contrasts drastically with the color of my avatar.  Wow.  Anywho...

I've got a new project!  It's a comic/cartoon/webcomic sort of thing.  It's called... are you ready?* ...Strange City.  The name implies the setting very well.  It's an idea that's been brewing amongst a group of friends for such a long time that it boiled over, spilled everywhere, and became a venture at creating our own webcomic. I'll be posting concept art as well as some scans from my drawings of the story, because for the most part I'm going to handle illustration.  This is pretty exciting and a little bit scary, because while I've always stayed in touch with my visual side, I've never been responsible for its quality or consistency. More info on Strange City to come!  Oh, if this goes where I hope it does, I'll have a lot to post.

On the side, you know what's interesting?  I feel like going over and drawing has helped my musical creativity.  It's like cross-training or something...flexibility of the mind.  I've got this developing notion that all art is really the same somewhere deep in our brains.
